Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Pixel Drift Studios (“we,” “us”) for the Elf Link app and website (the “Service”). By downloading or using Elf Link, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Who can use Elf Link

Elf Link is made for families. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. A parent or guardian sets up the household and creates a profile for each child, and is responsible for supervising their children’s use of the Service and for all activity under the household account.

Your account

• Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in secure.
• You’re responsible for activity that happens under your household account, including profiles and lists you create for your children.
• Tell us promptly at support@pixeldriftstudios.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Subscriptions & payments

Elf Link is free to download and includes optional paid subscriptions that unlock premium features. Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account:

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device.
• Payments, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms; we don’t process or store your card details.

Acceptable use

Please use Elf Link only for its intended purpose — building and sharing family gift lists. You agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe others’ rights, or upload harmful, offensive, or infringing content.
• Attempt to access other households’ data, disrupt the Service, or probe our systems.
• Copy, reverse-engineer, resell, or scrape the Service except as allowed by law.

Your content

“Your content” is what you and your family add — item titles, links, photos, notes, and lists. You keep ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process it only as needed to run the Service for your family (for example, syncing across devices and showing lists to family members you invite). You’re responsible for having the right to share anything you upload.

Third-party stores & links

Elf Link lets you save items from, and open “Buy” links to, third-party stores. Those sites and merchants are not controlled by us, and we’re not responsible for their content, prices, availability, or policies. Some links shown to grown-ups are affiliate links, and we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Our intellectual property

The Elf Link app, its design, artwork (including our elf characters), and branding are owned by Pixel Drift Studios and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your family’s own use. Please don’t use our names or artwork without permission.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that item details, prices, or availability shown from third-party stores will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixel Drift Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

Suspension & termination

You can stop using Elf Link anytime and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated or to protect the Service and its users. You can request deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continuing to use Elf Link after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pixel Drift Studios is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here limits any consumer-protection rights you have under the laws where you live. Apple is not a party to these Terms; your use of the App Store is also subject to Apple’s terms.
